It's Finally Official

Well after four years of hard work developing the English group here in Bocas we have finally reached our goal. Tuesday night it was announced that we have officially become one of the over 100,000 Christian Congregations worldwide. It feels so good to have finally accomplished it to this point. When we started the group we only had the book study. For many of the first months there were 5 people in attendance at that meeting. Then we started having Public Talk's and Watchtower Studies every week. And now just over a year ago with the change in the meeting schedule we were able to have all of our meetings in English. But to be able to watch a group grow to the point of becoming a congregation is an amazing feeling that cannot be expressed in words. To know that you were apart of building the first foundation and know what you did to help it grow made a difference is something I hope everyone gets a chance to experience. We only have 9 publishers in the congregation along with whoever is visiting. So our work is far from over. In fact the way I see it, the work has just begun.

Bocas Territory

Anyone who has ever visited Bocas and gone out in service here has seen that our territory isn't or I should say wasn't very organized. Yes until just about a month ago we didn't even have the island's territory completely mapped. When brother Troy Murray from Michigan visited he helped us complete the mapping of the island. Now we have maps of all of Isla Colon and we are starting to work on the other islands. I just thought I would show you how the maps look here.
